I was on the coast as well on Sunday and the waves (along with the wind) were WILD. Stayed a respectable distance from the ocean and enjoyed the day on the sand. RIP

Happens all the time. I'm new and never knew. Its not gentle beaches. Rough seas up here. Stay safe !

That section of coastline is treacherous. Sneaker waves are common, therefore you can’t turn your back on the ocean. May the hiker RIP 🙏🏽

Emotions are high these days so I'm not going to Monday morning quarterback this but, just take a moment and imagine how much worse this could have been if they weren't vaccinated

15-30 foot, if he wasn’t a surfer he probably died of fright.
