When Roger Rabbit finds out his wife played Patty Cake with Marvin Acme he doesn't take the news very well in this scene from the 1988 Disney film "Who Framed Roger Rabbit".

I don't own the movie.

I hope you enjoy the video.

I thought it was a innuendo but when he actually brought out the fucking pictures of her playing patty cake I just burst out laughing

Jessica is actually a pretty hilarious character. Despite _looking_ like a vamp, she truly is the devoted wife Roger thinks she is. ("I'm not bad, I'm just drawn that way.") What's more, she's legitimately attracted to Roger because "he makes me laugh", a reversal of the femme fatale who claims to want a sense of humor in a man but is really after looks or money.

I like that when Roger looks at the pictures more frantically, the pictures start animating like a cartoon.

What's crazy is that they're not wrong. If Betty is to believed, Roger is a very popular rabbit with the ladies

Its sad that Jessica was forced to emotionally cheat on Roger in order to help him but that makes it all the more wholesome that their marriage actually survives by the end and they're even stronger together because of it.

One of my favorite things about this movie is Roger's unshakeable devotion to his wife (despite her little "lapse"). It is very sweet, and I agree that it's a nice twist that she is genuinely the devoted wife that he thinks she is.

I feel so sorry for Roger that he’s both jealous and sad

I love how Roger goes through the photos like it’s a cartoon flip book!

Poor Roger. To be in his position...the struggle of enduring your heart breaking, the teetering between denying and accepting the facts, feeling your loyalty and trust crumbling, your mind racing through the memories you've made together - desperate for answers that would rectify this, and the weight of loneliness crashing down on you, all the while trying to keep yourself together despite the feeling of futility...

"Dames?! What dames? Jessica's the only one for me! You'll see! We'll rise above of this piddling picadillo! We're gonna to be happy again! Got that? Happy! Capital H-A-P-P-I !"
Roger's got me cracking up laughing. Except he spelled "Happy" wrong.

Gotta love how she only did the photos FOR her husband's sake otherwise, as she said Maroon told her "Roger would never work in this town again!" Unlike the original novel, Jessica in this film loves her husband dearly.

This scene was superb, watching Roger go through all those stages of grief. The denial, the trembling and crying, the anger, , thats so authentic. Its dramatic and ridiculous at the same time.
I saw this as a 9 yr old. As a kid you never get it but this is so cool to watch this as a 42 yr old and appreciate how heavy this movie was.

Aww, when he's crying in the alley is so sad. He's so cute. The voice actor did an amazing job.

To this day I consider this to be the greatest animated achievement in history.
The coloring on the animated characters is the most detail ever done for any 2d feature ever made. The bar had to be raised to the characters really looked part of the world.
It’s even more incredible that in over 30 years it has never been topped, which means it likely never will. That makes this film all the more special.

I haven't watched this movie since I was a kid. I'm realizing how messed up this scene really is.
