Exactly, we all are living in our own different and seperate realities, and escape our realities by living in our own false fantasies. We can’t find eternal piece in these false fantasies because they always come to and end and we know that they are fantasies. Humans are unable to understand one another because we all have experienced different realities and thus we are all different beings, yet we all have a norm that is labeled as human. This concept is executed and explained amazingly in Evangelion. First, there is me. Then, there is the people I know. Then there is the me that the people I know perceive me as. And so on, and so on. All of these different versions of me is still the true me, however they are all different me’s.
