New Unlimited Caps Method(This WILL Get Patched) - Fallout 76 (Update: it was Patched)

I believe the dice table costs 70 stamps. There’s also a small chance of getting it from Tax Evasion or you can use the dice table in the casino during the expedition.

I find it hilarious that the key to unlimited money is gambling.

Seven has the most winning combinations (6/36), so the probability of winning when betting on 7 is 16.7%. You can win 500 caps, so the expected win per throw is something like 84 caps. You only pay 50 caps per attempt so on average you win 34 caps per attempt. An easy "patch" would be dropping the reward from 500 to 300, which would make it more or less a zero sum game.

It's a statistics game based on statistics of real world dice and statistics say 6-9 are most likely to roll when rolling 2 dice and 7 being the most common number rolled, try it out go get 2 d6 and start rolling take notes and average it out and 7 will be the most common. So probably not getting patched but the may lower payouts (statistics) edit was to add the word statistics 2 more times

You can also just use the dice table in the casino in the Tax Evasion expedition if you can't get the stamps. It's on the left side of the main hall as you enter.

You can actually use 6, 7 or 8... they all have about the same win %. Sometimes 6 & 8 were giving me jumps far faster than 7

I could see if this affected bigger currencies, ie; treasury notes, stamps or atoms. I don't think Bethesda really cares about caps.

I feel like this isn't that broken or I just have very bad luck lol. I'm losing quite a bit with my highest loss streak being 16 in a row.

Edit: After doing this for about 30 minutes, I feel I only went up around 1500 caps. The caps that I did win just went right back into the table and ended up costing more to recoup the losses. Basically why you don't gamble in a nutshell lol.

Didn't work for me with 7 it worked with 9. Takes about 300 to 400 caps to win 500.

This is not a glitch. Just odds. I have been playing my tables every time I log in. I built a really nice casino shelter and i have found others in there just playing. Its nice seeing others there.

i wouldnt really say this is a glitch. just playing the odds. if you think about it you have a 1:36 chance of getting a 2 in the game. where as there are 6 combinations that would give you 7. you have a 1:6 chance of landing on a 7

If you don’t want to do expeditions just start an expedition team and it will fill up instantly. You can fly through them with a full team.
