What is there to do in Slovakia? Well, a lot, it turns out! From exploring the capital city of Bratislava, to spending time in the Tatra Mountains, to eating dumplings - and if you like to drink, they have a huge selection of local beers, wine and a number of spirits (yes we did do a few shots as part of our research)! But most amazingly for us, is that in a short train ride out of the cities, you can be in the mountains, covered in snow and checking out some amazing views. So whether its hiking, snow shoeing, or skiing - you'll be spoilt. Here's how we spent a long / fun weekend in Slovakia - our best tips to maximise your stay and time over there. So stick your out of office on and lets check it out.

Here at The Out of Office Traveller, we make travel guides for working professionals that love to travel and want to maximise their limited time off, by giving first hand tips and advice for amazing travel destinations and show you how we fit it in. We are friends from London, and between us, have travelled to over 70 countries - and hope to see many more! We spend our spare time doing as much research as we can on our next destinations. Through this channel we'll share our travel experiences, best travel tips and hacks to save you time and money.
