this is definitely feedback that should be passed onto Garmin.

Cheers

That would be because the local people updating traffic are behind in the traffic updates.

@GPSCity yes I do have the nuvi 1350, and I also hypermile, meaning that I DO know how to drive and save gas, the ecoroute just gives you a number that is good the closer you get to 45MPH, maybe im going 70MPG but im coasting down a hill in neutral and it will give me a bad score...

Hey mrbiggoggles314,
This is a first generation technology, you can bet that they'll improve upon it in the future.

Hello mrbiggoggles314,
Without hooking up to the OBD2 port you do not have enough data to Properly calculate MPG.
Have you used the Garmin Nuvi 1350 GPS before?

They also just came out with an update for the ecoroute, it works a lot better than the old version but I still say that it is not very useful for someone REALLY trying to save a lot of gas. But trust me, I only expect so much from something that doesn't hook into the OBD2 but the 45 MPH for a perfect score is a little dumb

i had many garmin in the past with traffic features amd I find it's useless and never accurate. It always announce traffic up ahead when there's nothing up ahead. It is more annoying when your mp3 player is playing.

Yeah, not too impressed with this feature. Garmin is trying to give us a reason to upgrade, but my nuvi 660 is still comparable to current models, for the most part.
