During the GIFA 2023, Hari Shanker, the Managing Editor of Machine Maker, engaged in a meaningful discussion with Rakesh Ghag, Director at FRECH India Machinery, and Roger Rapp, Managing Director of Meltec Industrieofenbau, where they discussed the role of Meltec in helping the Indian foundry industry become more efficient, green, and clean.

Roger further discussed, "We manufacture furnaces and dosing technology for the three main alloys: zinc, magnesium, and aluminium. Our products are innovative solutions. On the left side, you can see one of our dosing systems for Mega Giga casting, capable of handling up to 150 kg of aluminium. On the other hand, the new Melt Con product offers a semi-solid system, which aims to address various challenges faced by die casters."

Rakesh also said, "In December, there will be a GDC Tech event in India from the first to the third of December. This is the perfect opportunity for us to showcase all our equipment and launch our new product line. Roger will also be giving a technical presentation during the event to inform Indian diecasters about the advantages and functions of these innovations. I believe this event will be a great success after GIFA."
