Poison Melody Game in D minor

I wish my elementary school music teacher was this good! She just taught the difference between whole, half, and quarter notes for five years. Thankfully, when I took interest in violin in middle school, I actually got good music teachers.

OH MY GOSH!!! I played this game in Elementary school, but we called it Salami! Basically, it was this, but the poison phrase was always So-La-Mi!

Man, this brought back memories.

Unless he teaches starting from La for minor keys. Mi La and Ti dont exist in a minor key unless they are accidentals. They are Me, Le, Te.

My 3/4 grade music teacher did something similar, it was only Sa La Mi (Salami) every time any of us sung it everyone could yell SALAMI! and jump up and run, it was quite fun. He also had a batman costume in his classroom closet, and said his secret was he was Batman, and we couldn't share it with anyone, through everyone knew.
