Beautiful country with beautiful kind people. I was there during the peace keeping process with the US ARMY in Tuzla . It was great to talk with the locals especially the children whom I love because they showed me love and joy despite their living situation and conditions because of the war. My most fondest memories were all of the attention that I received as a black US soldier because most of the people had never seen a black man before and if they did it was through the lens of TV. They would call me Chocolate or Chaco- lata. I remember being in a small town parked in my humvee next to a bus stop drawing a crowd as I took off my gloves, goggles and cavalier and was swamp by folks especially the women and children. At first I didn’t understand what was going on and felt a bit nervous. They all wanted to touch me, and when the children touched me they would smell their hands and say “Choco- lata Choco- Lata”!! My interpreter told me that they thought my skin was covered in chocolate and I would smell like chocolate 🍫 WOW 🤩 I Will cherish the thought of that until the day that I die hopefully not soon. The women made me feel like I was an exotic piece not bragging but this happened everywhere I went with my squad or platoon. But of course there were sad occasions and stories told to me by the people of Bosnia. I want to go back one day now that it’s a possibility to see what it looks like as a tourist. I actually grew to love the people very fast because a lot of their despair reminded me of growing up in my neighborhood minus blown up buildings etc etc. Lots of orphans running around in different locations some locations more than others and being told by children horror stories that still haunts me. But I would still see smiles on faces and that kept my spirits high and made me want to be there more and more just to give them love and the same attention that I received. But hey I can go on and on about that particular time in my life my therapist told me to write about it and one day I will. Peace and Love to all humanity and God bless us all.

I was there, a wonderful feeling when you see clear water, people bathe and dive, waterfalls, really wonderful. About 3 hours drive and you come to Sarajevo, stay there and enjoy the food, pubs, natural beauty, history of the city, etc. Bosnia is a country to visit. And the beautiful city of Dubrovnik in neighboring Croatia is very close, the sea. Everything is great.

Gorgeous unpolluted women! They look so natural, no plastic in their bodies, and most importantly, on their minds.

Bosnia & Herzegovina is a beautiful country, did a 6 month peacekeeping tour back in the second half of 1996 with the British Army as part of IFOR. Was based in Kiseljak, not far from Sarajevo. Glad to see more peaceful times in this stunning spot. Also got a some R&R on Croatia's 🇭🇷 stunning jewel of an island, Brac.

У меня 3 сентября день рождения, а я кроме двух лет службы в восточной Германии никогда больше не был ни за границей, ни в зонах отдыха. Спасибо автору хоть краем глаза.
