I agree about Alonso. Stellar season and something that a 42 year old should not be able to accomplish. I found where his age came in was in qualifying. He seemed to make a lot of mistakes in his final Q3 laps. Not big mistakes, but mistakes that cost a few tenths and that drops a lot of places. I think right now that’s where we are seeing his age come in. The race craft is “chef’s kiss” but if he could be more consistent in qualifying he would be on the top rung. He’s my guy though for 20 years now so it’s ride or die for me when it comes to the real GOAT!

Even though the season was a but boring at the front as an aston martin fan and someone who would have been happy with them fighting with alpine and mclaren I could not have dreamed of having alonso finishing in 4th. As for my favorite video, it’s been your entire biggest upgrades series. As a big data nerd I just love to see all the changes the teams make and trying to figure out what it will actually do
