Energy Efficient Buildings - GCSE Physics
Показать описание
It is important to reduce any unwanted energy losses from buildings. This video shows some of the main ways in which it achieved. These include insulated walls (cavity wall insulation), loft insulation and double glazed windows.
In order to make a building more energy efficient, we must reduce its thermal conductivity. The lower the thermal conductivity, the less energy that is transferred outside of the house. Hence less energy is wasted, making the building more efficient. The main way we reduce the thermal conductivity of an object is to insulate it.
Thanks for watching,
