Reeps One and Dub FX last met on a misty hill both playing the legendary Glastonbury festival. This winter the two came together at Rockwell House London to write, record and perform 'Stars' in just 3 hours.

Reeps One is a force. Recognized as one of the most interesting and powerful beatboxers on the globe and a level of technique surpassed by none. This 2x Uk beatbox champions spear headed the scene with bass frequencies never to have emerged from a human mouth before. I like the contrast of the two styles and personalities. On one side you have the minimalist Reeps with just a mouth and a microphone, and beside him is a collection of tightly picked and honed machines masterfully tamed by DubFX.

These two really know how to collaborate, and the whitewash background emphasised just how simple their setups can be: no tricks, no hidden effects, just a few buttons and a pair of men who swallowed all the world's instruments.
