I've golfed twice so far, and my second game I ended up getting a glove for my right hand, which is normally for left-hand players I think but I'm right handed. Reason being a couple spots on my right hand the skin broke, leaving a sore, and it was just from warming up at the driving range! I know this means I probably swung the club wrong, but I just got a right glove to remedy the rubbing for the game.

Other than the time it takes to take to gloves of I tend to think that two makes sense. If I am supposed to only gently grasp the club with both hands, it follows that both hands will grasp equally, and that would have nothing to do with the lead hand. As for putting, unless it is a very hot day, leave them on all the time. I fail to see the big deal here, but most golfers are pretty adamant about wearing just one glove.
