I highly doubt the Neo will be using Polaris anymore. There is a reason why they didn't announce neo at their conference even though it was supposed to come out in just a few months. I think Sony obviously heard about the leaked specs of Scorpio and went back to the drawing board.

I think its very good for PC Gaming, Market will be very competitive and Nvidia has to compete for our money. More Games for PC as well. Although I'm not gonna buy this as all the XBOX games will be available on PC as well :D

AMD has the console market locked down. I remember having a discussion with my brother last year and I said to him that now with the consoles being x86 architecture, they can just release a faster version, but through disabling shaders, cores, and lowering clock speeds, be back-wards compatible in a way that wasn't possible before.

You can do this on any PC. Go into the BIOS, disable a core, lower the multiplier. I applaud this development. PC gamers, we are used to upgrading our PCs every few years, how wonderful will it be to still have that console experience, but with an upgrade cycle and performance / graphics boost similar to the PC?
