Coronavirus: Canadian airlift awaiting approval from Beijing

The Canadian government is awaiting approval from Chinese officials to fly Canadian citizens out of Wuhan, the centre of the novel coronavirus outbreak, to Canadian Forces Base Trenton in eastern Ontario, where passengers will be quarantined for two weeks.

Yes but guys, isn't it too late? You already let the husband and wife who tested positive (in ottawa) to go back to their homes for "self-isolation" and god knows who they have been in contact with when they were on their way to the hospital (when they first came from WUHAN) and when they left for "self-isolation". Its not only the US and the UK. Countries like Indonesia and even Morocco have already got the OK and a special flight took moroccan students from Wuhan to Casablanca. I don't understand how Canada still couldn't get our citizens back. This is unbelievable

Thank God the Canadian government changed their decision about allowing the passengers to self-quarantine at home. Involuntary quarantine is the only way to go.
