Carmen / Phantom of the Opera on Ukulele

Welcome to my apartment! I live in Hawaii and have been playing the ukulele since I was 5. This was from a rehearsal with guitarist, Helena Bierens who's not in the vid but you can hear her during "Phantom of the Opera"! I was showing her the beginning "Habanera" part of this medley. :p #Rehearsallife

Before you start discrediting your ukulele skills. This girl is using a different kind of ukulele and has had a shit ton of practice (and loads of talent) keep on playing :)

I listened to a lot of college lectures on speed 2X, and when I first started listening to this, I thought oh man I must be on 2X and then went to the speed and realized that I was listening to the video on normal speed. Totally blown away!!

okay so the strumming pattern is down, up, up, south, left, horizontal, all over the place, down, then turn around, twist, diagonal, north, jump and then down

The reason why i really love this is because so many people “play the ukulele” but really they just play like 4 chords-one of my biggest pet peeves
