Has anyone an idea how i can escape this harness or at least convince my parents to loosen up my harness a bit? I am 17 years of age and still have to use this device. My harness is just too tight. can someone give me advice?

Why have a lock on the chest clip, but not on the actual harness buckle? It's the latter that gives the security as it stops the wearer sliding out.

It is not an ordinary car seat, it's for a handicapped person... You can't buy a 5 point seat belt, car seat that size, in the shops...

I am 21 years old and I would like to be in a 5-point seat like this. my home seat is compulsory until 10 years old it's a shame I say that we should be in a seat with a 5-point harness until 16 years old I find its better and even more if the parents or the child wish . are there any who are in 5 point harness seats at 21 years old?

Ok, what happens in case of a crash, child won't be able to get out and escape the car because chest clip is locked, good thinking, but bad idea, even firefighters or anyone that could want to rescue the child won't be able to unlock it easily.

today I am 23 years old and I still think that the 5 point harness should be compulsory in all countries until at least 16 years old. I have no disability, I am completely normal and I wouldn't mind if I was tied up in a seat with a harness like this one. I would feel safer in a harness seat like this I think you are right I would also feel calm to be tied up like this. It might do me good not to be free as you say. I am no longer in a seat like the one in the car I drive now and that is compulsory until 8/10 years in my country
