Sorry, the license is too scary for me. This new license says it must be renewed every year and the Embarcadero can alter or end the license. No one should risk hundreds or thousands of hours on a development tool knowing the rug can be pulled at any time. Why does Embarcadero need to end or alter the license every year? If you don't plan on holding people hostage... make the license perpetual like the Starter Edition. I'm certainly never going to install this knowing you can brick it at any time.

I started working on a little personal privacy utility with Firedac drivers and SQlite... I discovered that - with Delphi - 5 lines of code are enough to programmatically create and open AES 256 crypted SQLite dbs... A full app built with just a FDConnection and some couples of FDQuery and Datasource components... no external dlls... I am amazed... it's SQLite heaven...
Plus these 10.x versions have a really fast compiler and a very responsive editor... faster in both aspects than Visual Studio (C# - on the same PC)! I hope the Community Edition it's here to stay...

I'm getting the Operation Error "Cannot load data from the server: Problem extracting compressed file. Downloaded file seems to be corrupted. " while installing RAD Studio 10.3 Community Edition.

what's the difference between this "Community" and the "Starter" edition?
can i use FireDAC and SQL to access a local DB ?
what are the limitations of the "Limited use, commercial license" (i couldn't find an explanation about it)
