Bro, you need to release a microtonal album. Your compositions are inspiring. So is your bass playing for that matter. Give the people what they want!

Hi, do you know about any video that explains 31 notes per octave scale in depth? Can you recommend any? I am kind of curious. Also it might help if you know about any book about music theory that covers this kind of scale. Thank you.

Where is the best resource to reschool one’s self in music theory that includes a higher pitch/note/tone fidelity than the currently accepted music programs and teaching of the western world?

I prefer either 48-TET or 24-TET.. but it’s a good kind of system though, I quite prefer the enharmonicity so.. Again.. I prefer either of those tao

I would have thought a 24 note scale would be a better compromise since with that you can just stick frets between the already present ones on a guitar.

I thought there were 12 notes per octave, and the 13th note in a Chromatic Scale is the same as the 1st note but an octave higher.

What I really want to know is why 31 and not 30 or 32. I've heard some stuff composed in 29 edo, but I've seen significantly more stuff composed in 31.

53tet approximates both 12tet and "just" / harmonic tuning better than 31.

Why not 24? Since its just twice as many notes
