For some reason we are in a era where devs and companies think its okay to release unfinished product. I don't know when this became the norm but this has increasingly been the case in recent memory not just with battlefield but with a lot of games, to release a broken game with promises to fix the game along the way. These guys clearly have no respect for the consumers anymore, I'm not saying the games I grew up with were perfect because they obviously had bugs and glitches but at least they were functional and not game breaking. So why pay an absurd amount of money on something that you know will be unrefined and unplayable, don't let them get away with thinking its acceptable to release an unfinished product AGAIN. DO NOT PRE-ORDER.

Ex veteran or not, EA needs OG devs to bring back the OG vibe of Battlefield . A military cannot develop a game but a skilled game developer can, sink that in .

As an Army veteran myself I don't know what to think of this. Most of the time these studios and companies want Veteran input but the input in the end will not make it to the big screen or in the game. Most movies can't even get a Army soldier's uniform correct, despite regulations and guidance being open and available to the public. It's the little things that matter and Battlefield doesn't pay attention to the little things and apparently the big things either because their games are getting further and further away from what they once were.

The fact they chose a prior fueler instead of a prior infantry guy blows my mind. Fuelers have no idea what is left or right in any combat scenario. She was probably really good at logistics, but not at all combat or knowledge how it looks in real life.

You will never get that BF3 gritty feeling again. It can't be the same when you hear women character yelling every 2min. nowadays. That gritty feeling we developed watching movies like Apocalypse Now, Thin Red Line, Black Hawk Down. etc. War movies with no women soldiers. So if war game doesn't reflect atmosphere from those kind of movies we will not have that gritty feeling. It's just how it is

I really want a return to the BF3 and BF1 grit. The soldiers screaming and cursing, the never ending chaos, barrelling down the lanes hoping you can push forward into the next sector.



BF1 operations, with BF3/modern setting, is all I want.

Tbh, I wouldn't mind if bf went more realistic and tone down the arcade side it's always had the potential to be a good milsim, and if it's done right, I think it could be a good way to go for the franchise but if it has specialist and a riot shield won't even look at it
