You’re literally right about front facing angles like… They tryna tell us that drawing fully symmetrical faces is easier?? Even with asymmetrical expressions I misplace facial features

@Nips 2 things! ✨✨ Maybe front facing is hard because the symmetry seems a lot more critical, when doing side view exc you have more luxury of how you want to present your shapes. It takes so much work for front facing to not be flat, and as a very flat artist, I completely fail at front facing. I like doing it for non human shaped stuff.

The other thing is that I'm so intimidated using acrylic markers because all your lines below disappear or become faded, like it seems almost better to only do the lines you have to and then put scales exc over those first layers for the final line works. I was sad seeing the scales get covered by the pretty green, but you knew how to work it and I'm scared I won't have that skill. Your art is pretty and this is inspiring!! ✨✨ I wanna draw something with three eyes, but is forced to wear this mechanic to keep the third eye open 🤣😭
