GTA Online: How to Get The CLONE SLASHER To Spawn! (NEW Mask Unlock Tutorial)

The clone slashers have been brought back into the game, with a brand new mask that you can unlock by taking them out. In this video I show the steps you have to take in order to get a clone to spawn in yourself, as well as the best strategy you can use to hopefully get one to appear.

For anyone still having trouble with this- I figured out how to find the Slashers faster and save hours of trying to get this WC done quicker:

The Game chooses 1 of the 4 Slashers at random to find the player during the night. If the game chooses, let’s say, the Sack Slasher, who is exclusively found at Paleto Bay, and the player is in the city and remains there… then nothing will spawn because said Slasher is confined within his own “territory” or “spawn” location; meaning you have to go there and *it will* spawn once you’re in the area.

Try visiting all four spawn locations for each Slasher shown on the GTAWeb map within the Time Limit. They actually spawn between 1:00 and 6:00 which is 10 minutes (I tested this with multiple accounts). You CAN actually fly to these locations with a MK2 for this… Just make sure you get off the vehicle and wait a couple of seconds on foot within the area. If the Slasher from that location doesn’t spawn… go to the next one and do the same thing until the one chosen by the game finds you in its area. I would also use either a Hakuchou Drag or Powersurge bike to drive to each area in a circle ⭕️ within the time limit to find the chosen Slasher starting from the Casino (Clown territory), to Tequila la Bar, to Galileo Observatory (both Clown and Psycho territory), to Stab City (Sack Slasher and Psycho territory), to Redwood Light Track site near Bolingbroke Prison (Flame Driver territory), and back to Casino (Clown territory).


My friends tried this, worked and got this done. Just need a little luck with your “Evil Twin” spawning in place of the Slashers. But this should save you hours of standing around in one location with no result. 👍

I did it in a closed session, completely alone, taking care of the basics such as, daily animal picks, stash houses in the MKnoob opressor, then boom… The red dot showed up in downtown Los Santos. Hate to say it but was luckily easy for me.

50/50 chance my a**, all the time when the slasher does spawn at where I want (Devin Weston's mansion) it's always the regular psycho... I just want some ideal Rockstar Editor footages with my doppelgänger "playing" around the property...

What a dumb way the devs have us doing this. Legit haven't had any slashers spawn and I've been trying the past few days. Guess I'll wait around the arena until it spawns.

my third time trying I went to the casino instead of the arena war and I finally got lucky and my clone spawned, dam I hate how they do these events.

I just defeated my clone slasher by Mirror Park pond. It was in an Invite Only session that was ongoing for well past 16 minutes. All on PS5.
I recommend finding your clone slasher within the clown slasher's spawn proximity since the area has a higher chance of spawning a slasher, and chances are, it's 50-50 being a clone or a clown slasher.

If you create an invite-only session at 1 PM, it will be 9 PM after 16 minutes pass. 3 slasher spawns overlap in the Vinewood Hills. I recommend having events and activities shown under map blip options since the slasher may fall under one of those categories.

For some reason one of my close slasher varient spawned while I was doing a mission on a Mk2 and it never spawned ever again... I am glitched. I didnt even realize until I saw the recording afterwards that I was being followed by the red dot...

This is a good question. Is a full custom Imani tec vehicle like the BUFFALO a Special or Weaponized vehicle which make this event not to work?

I personally am glad it can spawn in an invite only lobby and if I’m playing solo. Mine spawned in right after I delivered an exotic car to the docks, so it wasn’t like I was standing there for 16 minutes twiddling my thumbs 😅😂

I got the slasher a few times and it was always between 2 am and 5 am
