Reading & Northern: Christmas Steam Doubleheader

On Saturday, November 29th 2014, Keystone Railfan Productions ventured up to Coal Country to witness yet another event including Reading & Northern 425 and Central of New Jersey 113. The pair doubleheaded 3 trips out of Minersville, PA. Santa Claus was on board and these trips marked the start of three weekends of steam powered Santa excursions on the R&N. It was a great time had by all. Special thanks to the Reading & Northern, Project 113, and their crews for making this all possible!
Special note:
The whistles heard throughout the video are a Southern long bell 3 chime and a Southern bootleg hooter worn by 425, and 113 sported her classic CNJ 3 chime for all three trips.
