Russia agreed to borders in 1991, then ignored these and invaded. Now Ukraine seems to be thinking of a reset to the borders agreed in 1919, when the Kursk region was part of the Ukraine Soviet Republic. Rich irony.

Russia was the aggressor, and has been targeting the Ukrainian culture, and specifically their language, for over 300 years, and have broken over 20 "treaties" with the Ukrainian people over the years.

I'm American, and went to Kyiv, Ukraine to volunteer with help (but not on the front lines), and I feel like most American's don't realize how awful it is for the people of Ukraine over there.

If you would be so kind, though, to let Beau know, I discovered this channel at the beginning of the pandemic. He saved my sanity during the darkest days of the same when people in my building were beginning to drop like flies—I was terrified to even open my door for weeks. And the Insurrection…. I’m an old guy, live alone, battling Parkinson’s (doing okay but I know how this ends). I am SO grateful. Tell him to take good care of himself!
