After her show was canceled by ABC Tuesday in the wake of her racist tweet about former Obama adviser Valerie Jarrett, Roseanne Barr went on a Twitter tear overnight, saying she was on sleeping pills when she tweeted about Jarrett. TODAY’s Craig Melvin reports.

People need to understand that constitutional rights to Free Speech applies only to government restriction on speech. It does not apply to a privately owned company such as ABC.
