Peebs eats EVERY single Garfield Movie menu item at Olive Garden!

Apparently the Garfield Movie and Olive Garden did a collab? I almost missed it, but got there just in time before the Garfield promotion ended. There's the Lasanga (obviously), the Tour of Italy - Chicken Parmesean, Lasanga, and fettecini alfredo, and a Chocolate Lasanga for dessert! Plus obviously the soup, saldad, and breadsticks.

Fun fact: most Italian-American food is based on Southern Italian cuisine since most of the initial wave of Italian immigrants to the US came from Southern Italy. This is very much represented at Olive Garden, including the Tour of Italy on the Garfield menu. It's very much not a tour of the entire country of Italy. They could have at least slapped on a risotto or polenta to represent Northern Italy but I guess that's too fancy for the Olive Garden.

as someone who works at Olive Garden, yeah the whole Garfield thing is just visual promotion. the most we made Garfield was the kids menu (no garfield specific items) the small to-go cups, and the Ziosks have him appear. thats really it.

As someone who went to Italy last summer and has an Italian background, I know that gnocchi can be used in soups much like dumplings. You can also serve Gnocchi by itself either with Marinera sauce or put it on a skilled with sausage and vegetables like a hash.
