Zirilan of the claw is an underrated dragon commander. With an illusionist’s bracers, you can tutor to the field 2 dragons on the end step before your turn, and another 2 on your main phase. That will usually win you the game

Lurrus of the Dream-Den has impressed me as a casually competitive commander. Good tutor and removal colors. There's also a lot of cheap cmc combos that Lurrus is able to cast pieces of from the grave.

Vela's true strength is to be a combo win-condition in the command zone. Naru-Meha + Cackling Counterpart + Vela = GG.

Toshiro is deadly and spiking hard. I built the braindead easy version of loads of removal. I also was lucky enough to pick up a second copy for 7$ CAD before he jumped up to something like 26$ now.

Vela goes infinite in numerous ways. And the Dimir color combo gives you a lot of options to do that, plus control / stax to hold down your opponents so you can tutor and combo off. I built a power level 8 EDH deck with her as pilot.
