My wife prefers staying at home and taking care of the kid. I make enough money for the family so I'm fine with that. Frankly taking care of the kid and the household work is way harder that anything I do at work. But there was a time when i wasnt making enough and my wife worked and contributed to our finances. My sister supported my BIL financially when he got laid off and remained without a stable job for three years. It's so normal, I don't know why men don't trust women to do this. Especially in India where even uneducated women have started small businesses or worked as maids to support the family since time immemorial.

Im a woman and i support what that guy says. Marriage is an extremely huge deal financially and i dont know if i have it in me to support him financially for a lavish lifestyle . So I'd rather be single, humble and try to manage my finances myself
