Hi Dr. Sven, I spent like 2.5 hours on the meeting, and then listened to your video and really you covered almost the whole of the meeting in under 17 minutes, very nice video, this is called service which is quantifiable, where you saved a lot of people 2 hours of their time (which hopefully they spend doing real hard boring research)

Thanks for the video Sven! I watched the entire Berkshire Annual Meeting and found myself feeling like a kid who met got a glimpse of his hero behind the curtain and realized the hero is just a human like you or I. I read an excellent write up today about Buffett & Berkshire peaking on their 50 anniversary back in 2015. Buffett was full of energy and excitement at that meeting and I now see an actual 89 year old human in an almost melancholy state. Don't get me wrong, he's still Warren Buffett and I was hanging on his every word and will continue to do so, but I can't help but feel the article previously mentioned was right and 2015 was peak Buffett. I have no plans on selling my Berkshire shares however and will consider buying more in the coming weeks/months if the market does what I expect it will.

I think this is the first time that Warren talked about how a rational decision can be different for a manager vs an investor. He said that while all 4 airline CEOs made the right decision of seeking bailout early to prevent their businesses from going under, for an investor this meant that cash would now be diverted to the debtholders, making airlines unattractive.

I think I'm good at investing because I tend to think by myself and check things no matter what people say, I don't follow the masses blindly (I'm different! :p) and I try to make sure I'm right when making a decision, and think about it thoroughly. I even saw airlines were no good!
