Its amazing how some people just want to know whether to buy the stock or not. Astral is #1 no doubt. It gets 100 PE because of it's management, distribution network, pan india presence all sorts of plumbing related products (residential and industrial) and entry into Adhesives and Paints business . Very soon it will be competing with Pidlite & Asian Paints.
If experience mattered, then why don't FII/DII invest heavily in Finolex?
