I think I have watched every video featuring Stephanie on YouTube. And I have been trying to work out why I enjoy her playing so much. Her technical skills undoubtedly, her ability to interpret a piece of music and to somehow get more from it than other players, certainly. But watching this concert has brought it to me; it's the way she communicates her joy of playing each piece.

She plays beautifully. The guitar is very physical, and most players with this much technical command, have very large hands. Her hands are tiny, yet she plays with remarkable strength and facility, quite amazing, and lovely.
