Ancient Discoveries That Nobody Can Explain

Stumbling upon a historic artifact that doesn’t have a clear history or explanation is always bound to bring out the conspiracy theorists, like that guy on the History Channel who will always tell you that it’s proof of aliens. However wild that may be, the truth is there are plenty of historical discoveries that experts just have no idea about, and while people have tried to explain them, they still can’t do anything but guess.

From the creepy snake-shaped mound in Ohio to the alleged treasure map on the Dead Sea Scrolls that even Nicolas Cage wouldn’t be able to decipher, let’s take a look at some ancient discoveries that no one can explain.

Grunge: "Nobody can explain this bird carving!"

Also Grunge: proceeds to explain it's just a toy

Gobekli tepe is the oddest one I've heard about. Multiple ring structures. Who built them at a time where we thought there was only hunters and gathering? They're more advanced then what we thought of hunters and gatherers.

These things show that humans have always thought outside the box.

Interesting collection of archeological mysteries. There are many more worthy of a sequel video.

Fascinating about the Serpentine mound.

I don't believe the Saqqara Bird needs much explanation; to me, it is simply an early version of a Weather Vain; as a toy, it did not have an elevator because it was most likely affixed on top of a rod, and it was not necessary for it to move up or down, just sideways with the wind. However, if the bird was made with its rear tail feathers, and a rudder was placed on top, or underneath, then I would argue that it was intended to fly... I don't see this here.

The thumb nail is a statue of the Greek God of slaves his name I don't recall but slaves used to carry statues of him around.

Yes, i think he leaves a lot of good information out and interjects some of his own miss understandings.

Howdy Grunge/Looper, has this narrator recorded any audio books? He’s got an awesome tone unlike your female narrators who’s voices sound like nails on a chalkboard.

I’ve always been jealous of creatures that can fly, with good reason. What a view, for instance.
No borders, no boundaries, easy foraging, trespassing is nonexistent, people feed you, can’t go wrong.

I think there's underground tunneling systems and all those places

Pre-European settlers, oh please. It couldn't possibly be Africans that migrated all over the earth, being they were the first to walk the earth, could it?

The reason why ancient writings don’t appear until a little while ago is because it shows that men were created by God in one day.
