One of my favorite memories has this song in it. It was winter of 2005, me and a bunch of people were having a bonfire out in the woods and I was just kind of leaning against the grille of my truck alone away from the crowd around the fire and had this song playing on one of my mixtape CDs. I was singing along kinda mouthing the words and a girl came up to me from the rest of the people and asked why I was away from the people and i said cause i like to listen to good music and dont really wanna be here. She asked if I didnt wanna be here whyd I come and I said cause you cant turn down free alcohol. She said she liked the song I was listening to and we kinda stood there getting to know each other for the next hour. Long story short I met my wife through deftones.

41 now, but there I was in 98' I think, having been a fan since adrenalin. They played two back to back shows at the Quest in Minneapolis, same night, same energy. Chino dives into the crowd on everybody's head during this song. I'm standing there groving out waving my hand to the beat, doing the hit 6 with my fingers and Chino puts the microphone in my face and lets me sing the choruses with chi screaming in the background. I will never forget that experience and energy.
