In an Internet era rampant with cleverly presented misinformation, removing public dislikes from YouTube could have devastating consequences. There is a strong correlation between a video's like-to-dislike ratio and the accuracy of the title and content. Without access to that ratio, most people don't have the time, patience, desire or brainpower to distinguish between accurate and misleading information. This is especially true for children, who spend many hours each week watching videos while their brains have not fully developed the ability to think critically.

Censorship of this magnitude should not be taken lightly. I highly encourage everyone to consider alternate platforms for content creation and consumption. I will be deciding in the next few weeks whether to remove my YouTube channel until a public dislike button returns. Thanks for reading.

I haven't been following the discussions after your 1:50-speed run and so I do not understand the meaning of this speed run? What is the difference between the speed runs? Maybe you explain it in the video but I haven't watch the whole thing.
