We recorded this 4k ultra hd video during our trip to Ljubljana, Slovenia on end of September 2021.
Ljubljana is the capital and largest city of Slovenia. It is the cultural, educational, economic, political and administrative centre of the country. During antiquity, a Roman city called Emona stood in the area. Ljubljana itself was first mentioned in the first half of the 12th century.
It was under Habsburg rule from the Middle Ages until the dissolution of the Austro-Hungarian Empire in 1918. After World War II, Ljubljana became the capital of the Socialist Republic of Slovenia, part of the Socialist Federal Republic of Yugoslavia. It retained this status until Slovenia became independent in 1991 and Ljubljana became the capital of the newly formed state.
Our guided walking tour is about 3.72 miles (6 km) long, starts at Dragon Bridge and covers most attractions and historic sites of Ljubljana.

Its beautiful thank you for sharing your country makes my day today, its so sad my husband is from Slovenia but we miss to visit as we had plan before, he is now in Hesven fours ago together with his ancestor , he has still family neices and nephew live there, beautiful country, clean, full of history and people were humble I seen it through my computer, organize and behave. In (1971) - I met one of the nicest women - she was from this town - she was in the UK for 6 months on a Nursing Course - and I was fortunate to meet her - but this was at the time - when she had only six weeks to the end of the course -

We did not keep in touch - But I have never forgotten [ Veronica ] - Now I am an old man - I spend many a day in the cab of Slovenian Trains - North to South - East to West -

And I must confess - these journeys are the most wonderful - so I very often travel on the same route several times - The landscapes are the most pleasant that I have ever seen - the journeys are the most wonderful - and so I am very very happy that at least - I know one person from this very wonderful country - Much thanks - I will return (virtually) very often
