I'm no expert when it comes to RTS games (just see the gameplay in this video) but I wanted to learn more about how the Army Pop limit worked in Iron Harvest's Skirmish & Multiplayer - the maximum Army size that stops you from building more units, and then explain it to others so you too could understand this mechanic.
With default settings, you'll start with a potential maximum arm size value of 20, with 6 points used up already with your deployed engineers and infantry.
To make your army bigger, you then need to build a barracks (plus 5), build a workshop (plus 5), release your first reserve (plus 5), upgrade your barracks (5 more) release your 2nd reserve (another 5) and upgrade your workshop (the final extra 5 army / pop points). You'll now have a potential maximum army size of 50, and you'll be ready to build the right mechs and infantry units to deliver your strategies & tactics, & win!
Thanks, Rob.
