Both Souness and Jordan called him overrated a couple weeks ago 🤣🤣🤣

Salah gets in the all-time premier league eleven on the right wing.

I’m Egyptian and I read it totally different.

He’s begging to stay and extend.

Salah has done so much for Liverpool they should be throwing a contract at him, he still has another 3 years him

The new video editing is awful. The wholly unnecessary highlight reel of what we're going to see anyway within a couple of minutes. Then the zoomed in views of the pundits which robs the show of its atmosphere. Dreadful.

Souness has had a nightmare there....most fans see his comment as a message to the club to get the contract sorted. He wants to stay, he wants it sorted. He has plenty of time left at the top.

Simply because Mo Salah is Egyptian and Muslim doesn't mean he wants to go to Saudi Arabia. It's possible he might want to go the MLS. Or maybe even PSG who are owned by Qatari owners.

I think it's ok to say he wants to go to the Saudi league but stuff like his wife wants to go to an Arab country is very unnecessary. Has Souness ever spoken to his wife to make such a claim.

Sourness is a known Salah hater! He wants him gone sooner rather than later.

These two are absolutely delusional 😂. The guy literally said nobody offered him a contract and they try to spin that into he made his mind to leave.

I love how confidently wrong Graeme can be...a true narcissist.

I am Egyptian. I think Salah was just trying to push the board asking them for a new contract when he made that statement.

Anyone looking to move away out of contract at the end of the season would stay quiet and hope the club does NOT come forward with an offer. Salah for me is literally asking for a contract from Liverpool.

...And I'm not a LFC fan.

Salah in his interview seemed to be saying he is open to offers from liverpool and given his ability and excellent fitness i would be offering a player of his calibre a 2 to 3 year contract extension!

Overrated, not world class, diver, doesn’t show up in big games; yet he said maybe RM take him for a couple of years (at 32)… so funny

Salah is in the top 10 goal scorers in the Prem Era, and he’s 5 Prem goals away from being in the top 8.

Only Aguero and Henry are foreign players to have scored more goals in the Prem than Salah.

Salah is absolutely an all time Prem legend.

Liverpool need to give Trent, VVD and Salah new contracts ASAP.

I'm a fan of Souness but he doesn't understand Salah likes to win and break records (meaningful records)he's not in it for the money. if he was he would have been making more money at a big European team already. Also, Egyptians don't like Saudi too much. I doubt his wife would be wanting to move to Saudi where she doesn't have any family necessarily.

The question is:
-Do offer Salah another contract around 3 years, £18m per (x3 =£54m) or
-Do you go on the market and pay over £100m + around £18m salary per year for another superstar (= at least £154m bases on a 3 year contract) or
-Do you gamble on an other Nunez and pay around £85m + £7-8m salary per year (=£106m-109m based on a 3 year contract).
In my opinion it is without a doubt the best option to extend Salah. Yes he might slow down towards the end of his contract, but there is never a guarantee for any player, regardless of his age, that he is going to produce constantly and keep his level during the whole length of his contract.

Salah said yesterday it's his last year. I believe what he meant was it is his last year of his current contract. He's not said he's leaving. He said the club haven't spoken to him yet.

He's been an absolute gem for us. But I guess the hierarchy are going to look at his age and weigh up how long he has left at the top. He's nearly 33 and will not get better.

Most likely the club will offer him a one or two year deal.
