BUY THIS ALBUM!!! Abominog was Uriah Heep's first comeback album after the band had fallen apart a year and a half earlier. This is a remake of one of their own songs from the previous album - although in a totally reworked form.

Peter Goalby - Vocals, Mick Box - Guitars, Lee Kerlsake - Drums, Bob Daisley - Bass, John Sinclair - Keyboards

I just can't understand how can a band like that be so underrated. The band, specifically this album and, even more, THIS one song ! What I believe is: music was SO great from the 60's to the 80's, and so there are thousands of gems that remained kind of "buried" undernieth layers of options. Just don't know. Nevermind... what I do is keeping enjoying it myself, and let the rest of the world keep with the crap.

saw them live in Glasgow when this album just came out I knew I was looking at talent with timeless perfection. what a band / album  what a time to be around with master pieces being produced weekly. none of this rubbish we get today

They sounded a lot like Foreigner on this album. This album is awesome! I bought the Canadian version of their …Very 'Eavy …Very 'Umble album in 1970 and I had stopped buying their albums after Wonderworld. When I first saw the Abominog album in 1982 I bought it instantly and it was awesome!

Have you ever heard of David Byron my son?
I don't think so, calling this the best Heep Lineup.

Goalby is very good, but this one I prefer with Sloman

Boring compared to "That's The Way That It Is" that is their trademark song for me. I tape recorded it on a deluxe tape recorder player for cassette players mixed with the finest of other rock groups of Foreigner's "It Feels Like The First Time" and "Head Games" and other rock artists but no way enjoyed an album from artists other than Pink Floyd's Animals and The Wall for entire album collections.

o vocalista é John Sloman, e não Peter Goalby
