NordVPN is regarded as one of the best, and for a good reason. CyberGhost, on the other hand, has some issues preventing it from reaching the very top. Yet, I believe there’s greatness in everything and CyberGhost has some trumps up its sleeve that it can use to take NordVPN down.

I had a good run with both VPNs. Using them here and there, and coming up to a conclusion that on the surface, I like them both. NordVPN desktop and mobile apps are slick, simple to get used to and very, very eloquent at explaining what they do. I was very happy to find out that each of the apps have almost the same features and capabilities. Not something I often see in VPNs. CyberGhost proves that by having less features in the iOS and MacOS apps. On the other hand, CyberGhost’s apps are still very comfortable to use and they are well explained for the less experienced users.

NordVPN wins in the majority of the sections, and rightfully so. It shows better performance, better privacy and it’s straight up better in almost everything. It really is a high-end service for a decent price. But in all honesty, CyberGhost is just a little worse. You can still use it for everything NordVPN excels at, and get a slightly worse result, but result nonetheless. And it’s also more affordable. In that sense, NordVPN is a better service and must have if you want smooth performance 24/7 and advanced security. But if you are willing to bear with minor weaknesses of CyberGhost - it’s going to be just as good for you, and for a lower price.

I have 1gig cox internet and i test it out without nordvpn i get around 940, when i run it with tcp i get 77mbps, with udp 510, with nordlynx 375, , i have near seen anything above 500 with vpn regaless servers location/countires, and my connection is hooked with cable not wifi, any tweaks/tips to make it better 👍🏼

The program is not bad, but the service and attitude of the people are off the charts bad! They treat clients like so much excrement. After paying 52 dollars it took them almost 3 months to finally get the program working. I even called in an outside programmer to look at the problem at my expense. Then they canceled me and allegedly refunded my money. Truly shitty treatment from this company after I spent several hours and a dozen emails helping them debug their program.
