Greenfield Vs Brownfield Development || Which is Better ||

A greenfield project is one which is not constrained by prior work. It is constructing on unused land where there is no need to remodel or demolish an existing structure. Such projects are often coveted by engineers. Some examples of greenfield projects are new factories, power plants or airports which are built from scratch. Those facilities which are modified/ upgraded are called brownfield projects.

Brownfield is a term used in urban planning, which means land that has been used previously but is lying vacant or unused now. This land could have been contaminated by industrial waste or hazardous waste or might have suspected oil contamination. A brownfield site was once a commercially developed parcel but currently not in use for any purpose. Such brownfield land parcels are found mostly in western countries, which have been used for oil refineries, railroads, gas stations or heavy manufacturing plants.

Every small state should establish a new Greenfield city...and big state should establish atleast 2 new green field Cities each....and UP should set up atleast 3 new Greenfield city since it's the biggest state of our country...in terms of population...I hope aisa kuch future mai jald se jald ho..we desperately need new cities...and equitable urbanization... should be ensured becaus east india is way poorer than western India..love to all fellow Indians..😊❤️🙏

Greenfield projects are more sensible, as they're build on a completely new land from the ground up hasn't been bounded by any structural and designing constraints, and leave more freedom to architectures and engineers to work on.
Only thing is they must be done keeping in mind the environment and should be preserved it as much as possible by taking various innovative solutions to cope with problems would arises in the mean time.
