Jimmie should write a book about his early beginnings, his life as a musician and Stevie Ray. I'm sure it would be a fascinating story and a great tribute.

Pure Texas style. When I saw him a few years ago he stayed after the show until all autographs were signed and pictures were taken with fans. A true Texas gentleman and guitar legend. God Bless you Jimmie!

I love how Jimmie has an economical way of playing that still says so much. Stevie was different in that respect but legendary of course. Jimmie has such a pure blues feel that is so underrated by so many. I believe he could sit and talk the blues all day and it would never be boring. He's a treasure!

Perfection - The man always plays what's necessary, rather than the unnecessary and knows about the gaps between the notes being just as important as the notes themselves - the sign of a great player . . .

Yep, I've been privileged to know Jimmie for 30 years now. He's a great guy, and I always enjoy seeing him play or just hanging out at a car show. And he always looks that sharp!

I meant Jimmie Vaughan Maybe 5 years ago in Santa Cruz with Lou Ann Barton. He signed my album T-Bird rhythm. And I gave him a 55 Thunderbird model. And you look straight at me and said I'll cherish this. One of my best friends Ron Thompson of Ron Thompson and resistors was good friends with Jimmie Vaughan. Maybe you'll never read this Jimmy but I sure do you appreciate you and you life's work and of course your brother to many blessings to you and your family and all your love. Beautiful Stratocaster by the way I want one I want one. ::-)
