Sound of Indri Lemur

While in Madagascar we woke up to the sound of a Lemur calling. It's too bad because in Madagascar they are deforesting almost 80% of the habitat. I hope they can turn this around to save their wildlife.

Legends says that there were once two brothers that lived together in the forest. One fateful day, one brother left to seek a better life. He soon after transformed into the first human. Devastated by the lost of his brother, the one who stayed let out a painful cry and called for his brother to return home. This became the call of the Indri. A call that continues to this very day. A call that will continue until to two brother are reunited once more.
