Any reason to use this over the Siberian hitch? That’s what I use all the time

So for your easy to undo part, on many of my knots, i'll take the final "tail lock" and instead of the end, i'll push a bight through. I've done this with bowland knots (not for rescue of course!) all the time. Never strength tested them though. Bad practice?

Easy to undue? The Buntline definitely has the propensity to jam.
