Amazing! Great that you finally can customize the tention in the stick. I found the X-52 a bit sloppy due to the weak spring. Definitely gonna buy this :)

Looks like a lot of of plastic compared to the 65f. Its funny seeing an official unboxing video, you should have an official boxing video too.

Well, looking at the stick and how it screws on to the base(plastic looking) seems pretty flimsy and really begs me to wonder just how long this thing is going to last.
Next is, will this be heavy enough not to move around easily?  Doesn't look half as heavy as the Thrustmaster.  Switches on the throttle arm look nice, but quality, I wonder.  Has the 'dead-zone' problems that plague a lot of sticks been taken care of, or does this have the same issue with a dead zone?

At this price point, one has to live with the plastic-toy look and feel, I guess. The high-end HOTAS, G940 and Thrustmaster Warthog, are much heavier and rigid, but also cost at least twice as much. Hopefully, Saitek will also release an update for this high-end sector.

Im very sceptical about the inside build quality. They only use hall sensors for the Y and X axis. The Z and throttle axis are still potentiometers that start spiking after x time of use.
If someone dares, please post pics for the inside. Im very curious and that is all about if i will buy the X55 or not.

Guys, I think that would be a smart move with you selling them separately. The sim market lacks in terms of throttle options, we just have CH Pro Throttle, but it´s very limited in terms of rotaries, and for us hardcore simers, rotaries are very important. Think about it ;)

Does anybody know what we are waiting for? Is Saitek just starting up the production line or are they shipping, or still designing (if still designing:  remove the Z axis en throttle pots and replace them with hall sensors).

Are the 2 throttle axis equiped with hall effect sensors?

Would this be a good stick for a beginner flyer? Thinking about getting it for myself for a little game called star citizen? Could anyone recommend?

At first? I thought this stick would be excellent. I may still get it. However, I think the switch on the left throttle instead of the right or "inner" throttle is a bad idea..

Look kinda like a HOTAS WARTHOG. Not complaining or anything, people need a cheaper alternative to a $400 stick. Is it any good? Any problems?

As one of the few people developing for DirectOutput, it's a little sad to see all your new stuff coming out without software-controllable LEDs.

Anyone have any idea when this ships in the UK?
