I just read an article that suggests that this is supposed to represent the resurrection of militant white nationalism. Charls is a soldier, he becomes injured, when he restarts himself, his eyes look like pepe the frog, and now the woman fears him. Really fascinating interpretation.

I can see how this is about Exercise Addiction, which is extremely common now and just gets encouraged. They work out to get that high, like the "weights make sad head voice be quiet" meme. And end up pushing their bodies too hard, and injuring themselves. Then getting onto painkillers and steroids and the like. And they just keep being encouraged the whole time, because it's
