Make sure you have a calibration cert from the manufacturer or other accredited institue eg UKAS. That means the unit will give reliable readings.

I have got one of those, and while using it on some of the main roads around Birmingham, everything seemed okay and healthy. The highest reading I got, whilst still in the safe zone, was inside a large cemetery on the SE side of the city.

Worked in mining industry for decades and you would always get someone farting at the gas sniffer setting of alarms. Grown men can be such children 😂, love what your doing.
