I absolutely love how puffy Gort and Quandale Dingle get when they're getting scritches. Never realized capybaras had such refined(?) control over their hair. I'm used to their much smaller relatives the hamsters, who just sort of seem to go with the flow when it comes to good/bad hair days.

To make a pond "animal proof" so that the liner doesn't get damaged is to put a decent layer of clay and dirt or gravel above the liner. The pond will not be as deep, but it can prevent it from getting instantly torn up. Also use felt blanket under and above the liner.
