I paid 600 bucks for a custom zob when I was a young one and it lasted about a week. Some asshole knocked it over having a cough attack. Nothing you smoke out of should cost that much. They do not stand the test of time

I specialized in mini bongs and bubblers that fit in your pocket. I got $60 for one. The shops want to mark it up to $180! Retail is a scam. All they do is jack up the price all crazy. It's fun to make pipes. I'd actually rather work for fun and make one really nice piece each day. It's hard work and you need to be precise for hours without making a mistake.

I got to go to Goosefire Gallery a few times to vend events. Some of those pieces were insane and each was worth $10k+. Not sure if Goosefire is even still around but I miss going to all the local glass events around the OC/LA.
