Thank you for this information, I wished I had it prior to my retightening. You and i seem to be going through the same thing. I started my looks in Aug 20. I workout everyday as well, didn't know about the water/sweat situation either. When I went back to my loc technician, OMG! My hair was brittle in some area, therefore I had breakage, in other area slippage. My thoughts was "what in the world have I gotten myself in. I love my sister-loc and will hang in there and to top it off I had been prescribed the wrong dosage of thyroid medicine. Again, thank you for the information. Blessing to all that on the sister-loc journey, beautiful queens.
