We recently painted our garden gate with Dulux brand colour. Super happy with the result!

If you don't pull the tape off while the paint is still somewhat wet it can end up pulling the paint with it in certain spots. Do a couple of steps and then pull the tape. Best to tape it again for the second coat

I painted the stair risers & they are totally uneven. I'm doing something wrong! Is there a particular tape for this? I used the blue tape, & when I pulled it off, the paint stuck to it. Thanks

Are the stair risers here made out of MDF? I’m moving into a new build soon and had planned on painting my stairs like this (dark on the treads and white on the risers) but been told recently that the stairs will be made of MDF, will this still be okay to paint with this kind of paint? Looking everywhere for video tutorials of Painting MDF stairs and can’t find anything!

Caution to anyone painting with quick dry water based gloss you will get flash marks if you don't no how to use it even the professionals  struggle with it.
